LaRosa played four years of shortstop at Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, Calif. ... was named Hacienda League MVP and DBHS Female Athlete of the Year, and first-team All-CIF, San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Inland Valley, Daily Bulletin All-San Gabriel Valley and All-Max Preps as a senior ... hit .508 with eight home runs, 26 runs batted in and 16 stolen bases ... helped the Brahmas to a league title in 2011 ... first-team All-State, All-Area and All-Sierra League and second-team All-CIF as a junior ... led the Sierra League with a .502 average and five homers and was named 2010's Most Feared Hitter in Softball by the Los Angeles Times ... earned numerous scholar-athlete awards, and her number 11 jersey was retired at DBHS ... coached by Roberta Garcia ... played travel ball with Corona Angels, winning the 18U Champions Cup in 2011.
