LOS ANGELES - Wednesday's softball game between UCLA and Loyola Marymount has been canceled due to inclement weather. A morning storm dumped rain on LMU's Smith Field, rendering it unplayable. No make-up date has been announced.

With sunnier skies in the forecast, the third-ranked Bruins travel to the Long Beach State Invitational this weekend for five games. On Friday, UCLA faces FIU at 1:30 p.m. and Iowa at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Bruins take on Syracuse at 7:45 p.m. UCLA finishes up the weekend with two games on Sunday against Longwood at 9 a.m. and Long Beach State at 1:30 p.m.

All games will be played at Mayfair Park in Lakewood. Gametracker will be available for all UCLA contests at UCLABruins.com.
