14th-Ranked Bruins Travel to Pac-12 Championships

The 14th-ranked UCLA women's swimming and diving team heads to Federal Way, Wash. this week for the Pac-12 Championships, which run from Wednesday through Saturday.
Things get started with a pair of events on Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m. with the 200 Medley Relay and the 800 Freestyle Relay.
On Thursday, the individual races begin with preliminaries at 11 a.m. The 500 Freestyle, 200 Individual Medley, 50 Freestyle and One-Meter Diving prelims start the day, with those four event finals, along with the 200 Freestyle Relay, opening the evening session, which starts at 6 p.m.
On Friday, the preliminaries begin at 11 a.m. with the 400 IM, the 100 Butterfly, the 200 Free, the 100 Breaststroke, the 100 Backstroke and the Three-Meter Diving. At 6 p.m., the finals for those six events take place, along with the 400 Medley Relay.
The meet wraps up on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. with the 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly and Platform Diving prelims. The evening session begins at 6 p.m. with the 1650 Free final. The five Saturday morning events also have their finals, as does the 400 Freestyle Relay.
The Bruins finished fifth last season and had six Top 6 finishes at the meet. Emma Ivory-Ganja placed third in both the Three-Meter and Platform diving events. Noelle Tarazona placed fourth in the 200 Fly, Lauren Baker was fifth in the 1650 Free and Andrea Reigel and Anna Senko were sixth in the 200 Back and 200 IM, respectively.
The Bruins went 5-3 against Pac-12 teams in dual meets this season, defeating Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Utah and Washington State, while falling to USC, California and Stanford.
