Vandenberg was the highest finisher for the Bruins at the 2005 NCAA Swimming Championships at Purdue, placing third in the 200 Fly with a 1:55.08 (she posted the second-fastest qualifying time) and earning a 12th-place showing in the 100 Fly with a time of 53.60. She also swam the second legs of the Bruins' All-American 200 and 400 Medley Relay Teams

This is Vandenberg's third UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and fifth of her career.
