MADISON, Wisc. --The No. 2 ranked UCLA women's tennis team rebounded from two consecutive losses in the USTA/ITA Women's National Indoor Team Championships, to defeat No. 17 ranked South Alabama, 6-3, in consolation play today.
UCLA won five singles matches and swept doubles play en route to the convincing 8-1 victory. Kelly Rudolph completed her stellar weekend with her third singles victory as she defeated Gaelle Gouttefard 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 4 position. South Alabama's highlight, and UCLA's only setback, came at No. 2 singles where Iva Puflarova defeated Elizabeth Schmidt 6-1, 6-1.
