Dolehide and Montez Move into Semifinals in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. - Women's tennis players Courtney Dolehide and Pamela Montez won their quarterfinal doubles match on Saturday at the Freeman Memorial Championships, earning a spot in Sunday's semifinals at UNLV's Fertitta Tennis Complex.

Dolehide and Montez, the defending champions in Las Vegas, downed North Carolina's Zoe DeBruycker and Gina Suarez-Malaguti, 8-3 on Saturday. The Bruin duo will be in action on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

In singles action on Saturday, Chanelle Van Nguyen was beaten in the quarterfinals, suffering a 6-4, 6-3 loss to USC's Danielle Lao. Van Nguyen was the Bruins' last remaining player in the singles draw.
