Sophomore Robin Anderson (Matawan, N.J./Matawan Regional HS) of the UCLA women's tennis team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 4-10.

Anderson went 3-0 in singles action last week, helping the second-ranked UCLA women's tennis team reach the finals of the USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships for the second year in a row. Anderson, who is ranked No. 6 nationally in singles, lost just two games in UCLA's first two victories, as she beat Vanderbilt's Lauren Mira, 6-0, 6-0 in the first round and followed that up with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Miami's Monique Albuquerque in the quarterfinals. Against eighth-ranked Lauren Herring of Georgia in the semifinals, Anderson was leading 6-3, 4-6, 3-1 when play was suspended after UCLA clinched the 4-1 victory. With the three wins on the week, Anderson improved to 18-0 overall on the year and 14-0 in dual matches.

This is Anderson's third UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and fifth of her career.
