San Diego, Calif. - UCLA's Robin Anderson and Kaitlin Ray both posted wins on Saturday to reach the singles semifinals at the USTA/ITA Southwest Regionals at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

Anderson, the tournament's No. 1 seed, defeated teammate Kyle McPhillips, 6-2, 6-0 in Saturday's quarterfinals, setting up a Sunday showdown with Pepperdine's Lorraine Guillermo. Also in action on Sunday will be 10th-seeded Kaitlin Ray, who was a 6-2, 6-3 winner over teammate Skylar Morton. Awaiting Ray in the semifinals will be second-seeded Sabrina Santamaria of USC.

Anderson also reached the semifinals of doubles with teammate Pamela Montez on Saturday. The top-seeded Bruin duo notched an 8-2 victory over fifth-seeded Alicia Aguilar and Julia Wais of San Diego State. Anderson and Montez will meet third-seeded Gabi Desimone and Zoe Scandalis of USC on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
