Nov. 6, 2009
West Haven, Conn. - UCLA's Andrea Remynse and Yasmin Schnack are just two wins away from a major title, as the Bruin duo won its quarterfinal match on Friday at the ITA Intercollegiate Indoor Championships at Yale's Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. The fourth-seeded Remynse and Schnack beat Marshall's Michaela Kissell/Dominika Zaprazna, 8-4. Next up is a meeting with second-seeded Hilary Barte and Lindsay Burdette from Stanford. A day after upsetting the tournament's No. 3 seed, Schnack fell in the second round of singles on Friday, losing to Cal's Marina Cossou, 6-2, 6-2.
