Anderson Reaches Semis at National Indoors

Flushing, N.Y. - UCLA's Robin Anderson advanced to the semifinals of one of the biggest tournaments of the tennis season on Friday, as she won a pair of matches at the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the USTA's Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Anderson, who is seeded fifth, began the day with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Northwestern's Kate Turvy. She followed that up with another straight-set win in the quarterfinals, this time defeating Tennessee's Brynn Boren, 6-1, 6-1. Next up for Anderson is a meeting with Cal's Zsofi Susanyi on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (EST). Susanyi is unseeded, however she knocked off top-seeded Lauren Embree of Florida in the second round.

Kramer Classic (Rolling Hills, Calif.)
UCLA has four players competing up the road in Rolling Hills, Calif., as the 2012 Kramer Classic got underway on Friday. The Bruins had three players move into the quarterfinals, with Catherine Harrison, Kaitlin Ray and Courtney Dolehide all winning matches. Below are Friday's results.
