At the NCAA Outdoor, she won the discus (182-0)
Since 1995, a Bruin woman has won the discus at the NCAA Outdoor on six occasions
On May 21 at Salinas, had a personal-best in the discus (188-6, No. 7 in school history)
At the Pac-10, Ross defended her discus title (180-8) and also scored in the shot put (6th, 51-0.75)

SAC Relays

In 1996, Ross was the U. S. Junior Olympic winner in the discus (147-0) and in 95, she was the U. S. Junior Olympic champion in the shot put (44-8).
