Goldring Runs No. 2 10k Time in School History at Mt. SAC

Katja Goldring ran the No. 2 10,000m time in UCLA history on Thursday evening at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut. The junior ran a lifetime-best by over a full minute, placing fifth overall in the Elite Olympic Development 10k race with a time of 34:41.82.
In the B section of the 10,000m, senior Taryn Pastoor finished 28th with a time of 38:28.44.
Also on Thursday at Mt. SAC, Merissa Kado and Bronte Golick were competing in Section C of the University/Open steeplechase. Kado finished 11th in a time of 11:01.53, while Golick placed 21st (11:30.34).
In the 1500m, sophomore Paisley Pettway placed eighth in heat five and 61st overall with a lifetime-best run of 4:30.79. Junior Sarah Toberty was fourth in heat eight and 76th overall (4:33.12), while sophomore Rachel Butler was 11th in heat 10 and 117th overall (4:42.58).
The Bruins continue competing at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday.
