The men's and women's track and field teams are in Tucson, AZ to compete in the final Pac-10 Championship meet before the conference changes to the Pac-12. The men, who moved up to No. 21 in the weekly national poll, will be vying for the conference crown, while the women will also be in the hunt for a strong conference finish.
Last year, the men tied for fourth and the women placed sixth. The meet will be televised on FSN with the first airing of the broadcast on Fox Sports West on May 21st at 3:00 pm.
Several Bruins will be vying for Pac-10 titles this weekend. The men's team already stands in first-place with 15 points after Bruin decathletes Trent Perez, Marcus Nilsson and Dominic Giovannoni placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively, at the multi-event championships last weekend. The women stand in fourth with four points after Tatum Souza and Kimmie Conner finished sixth and eighth, respectively in the heptathlon last weekend.
