Overview: Ringel finished strong in the 2003 season with All-Tournament honors at the Lincoln, Neb., regional of the NCAA Tournament. Poised to take that momentum and carry it into her senior season.

2003: Had double-figure kills in all four of UCLA's NCAA Tournament matches. Led the team with 14 against UC Irvine and had 11 with a .345 attack percentage in the first round against San Diego. At Regionals, Ringel had 11 kills against Nebraska and a team-high 17 kills while hitting .375 against USC. Posted a career-high four blocks (all assists) against Nebraska in the Regional Semifinal. Had her best statistical match of the season in the regular season finale at Pepperdine, turning in season-highs of 19 kills and 21 points with six digs, and ace and two block assists. Recorded 10 double-figure kill matches, including the last five matches of the season. Did not have a double-figure dig match, but generally is replaced by the libero in the back row. Career-high of three service aces has been set twice this season, at Montana on Sept. 6 and vs. California on Nov. 14. Was slowed by an ankle injury for the early portions of the Pac-10 season, but has fully recovered from the injury.
2002: Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 selection. Played in all 34 of UCLA's matches, notching double-digit attack attempts in all but one match (had nine at Washington on Oct. 26). Had a break-out match in UCLA's Pac-10 opener on Sept. 20 vs. Arizona, downing 22 kills with a .391 attack percentage, connecting for kills on five of her first six swings in the match. Also topped the 20-kill plateau on Nov. 12 against Pepperdine with 21. Also topped 20 points on Nov. 12 against Pepperdine with 22 on 21 kills and two block assists. Best hitting match was against Washington on Sept. 27 when she hit .571 with 12 kills on 21 attempts and no errors. Had 10 or more digs five times, all in the second half of the season, reaching a high of 15 at Washington State on Oct. 25 and against Arizona State on Nov. 21. Had double-figure points in 22 matches. Had one multi-ace match with two at Arizona State on Sept. 21. Had two solo blocks on Oct. 4 at Cal, her only match with multiple block solos.
2001: Played an outstanding match off the bench in UCLA's 3-1 defeat of Hawai'i in the NCAA Tournament regional semifinal. Had four kills on eight swings with a dig in that match. Season-high of seven kills came on Nov. 2 against Washington State, a match in which she had a season-high 27 attacks and six digs. Had a season-high six digs on Nov. 2 against Washington State. Joined the UCLA women's basketball team for winter quarter. Played in one game, recording a steal and a three-point shot attempt in two minutes on the court against Washington State on Feb. 1. That game was a 79-55 UCLA win at Pauley Pavilion.
Prep: Gatorade Player of the Year for volleyball in the state of Texas. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Player of the Year for volleyball in 1999 and basketball in 2000. Hit .567 as a senior with 397 kills and 108 blocks. Was also a four-year basketball letterwinner for Trinity Valley, scoring 2,018 career points.
