PULLMAN, WA - The UCLA women's volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory on Friday night at Bohler Gym in Pullman, WA, defeating Washington State with game scores of 30-24, 30-21, 30-22. The Bruins improve to 9-2, 4-1 Pac-10, while Washington State falls to 7-6, 2-4 Pac-10.

The Bruins had four players with double-figure kills, led by Kristee Porter and Lauren Fendrick with 13 kills apiece. Fendrick double-doubled, as she was the only Bruin to record double-figure digs with a match-high 16.

Also in double figures were Ashley Bowles and Angela Eckmier with 10 apiece. Angela Eckmier had an impressive night on the blocks for the second straight night, recording two solo and five assisted blocks to go along with thos 10 kills and a .667 attack percentage. As a team, the Bruins hit .354, as opposed to .181 for the Cougars.

UCLA returns to action on Thursday night with a match against No. 4 Stanford before playing host to California on Friday night. Both matches are scheduled for 7 pm starts and will be broadcast live on www.uclabruins.com
