SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Coralie Simmons scored three times to lead a balanced UCLA attack in a 12-1 win over UC Santa Barbara Friday afternoon at UCSB's Campus Pool.
The Bruins opened the scoring on the first of Simmons' three goals with 1:46 remaining in the first period.
That was folowed just 30 seconds later by Erin Golaboski, who tallied the first of her two goals on the day. In fact, UCLA led 8-0 before UCSB snapped their scoring drought on a third period goal by Catherine Hill at the 4:09 mark.The Bruins return to action when they take on Long Beach State on April 3 at 7 p.m. at Belmont Park.
