This document sets forth guidelines for the allocation of men's season basketball tickets to UCLA faculty and staff. Particular attention is paid to the manner in which tickets are allocated to the UCLA administration. Definitions that affect this policy include:
Faculty...
For the purposes of this policy, UCLA faculty are defined as tenured and tenure-track faculty and lecturers with security of employment.
Staff...
For the purposes of this policy, UCLA staff are defined as full-time career employees.

Seat Locations
Sections 118, 119, 120, 219 and 220A are defined as the faculty staff sections in Pauley Pavilion.
Ticket Allocation Policy
UCLA faculty and staff, as defined herein, are entitled to purchase two (2) season seats, depending upon availability, in the sections designated for faculty and staff. Additional seats may be purchased in other areas of Pauley Pavilion, depending upon availability, at face value and with a corresponding donation for those seating areas that require a donation.
- Season tickets for UCLA faculty and staff members, as defined herein, are assigned to the individual.
- When the current season ticket holder chooses not to renew their season tickets, retires, or otherwise leaves UCLA, the seat assignment becomes vacant and is eligible to be purchased by a current UCLA faculty or staff member.
- Season tickets for UCLA faculty and staff members are non-transferable.
UCLA administration, as defined herein, are eligible to purchase two (2) season seats, depending upon availability, in the sections designated for faculty and staff. Seating priority will be determined by the Chancellor or his/her designee. Additional seats may be purchased in other areas of Pauley Pavilion, depending upon availability, at face value with a corresponding donation for those seating areas that require a donation.
- Season tickets for members of the UCLA administration as defined herein are assigned to the position only.
- When the current season ticket holder retires, or otherwise leaves the position, the seat assignment remains with the position.
- If the incumbent declines the tickets, they are returned to the pool for assignment on a one-year basis by the Chancellor or his/her designee.
- Members of the UCLA administration who retire, or otherwise leave the position, are subject to the ticket policy articulated herein.
Proof of Faculty Staff Status
All persons sitting within the faculty staff section are required to provide an employee ID number for the purpose of verifying current employment status at UCLA. Faculty and staff members must meet the faculty and staff definition, as described herein, on July 1 of the calendar year in question in order to be eligible to sit in the faculty staff sections for that corresponding upcoming year of UCLA basketball.
Initial Load-In of Remodeled Pauley Pavilion
The group defined herein as UCLA administration will have a prioritized block of seats provided to them upon the initial move-in date. Faculty staff members, as defined herein, who are also current season ticket holders will be prioritized based on their current point total - the higher the point total, the earlier they may select their seat location. Any seat that remains available in the faculty staff section after the UCLA administration and current faculty staff members who are season ticket holders have been seated will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to qualified faculty staff members, as described herein.
