Samantha Peszek Joins Pac-12 Networks

UCLA alumna and reigning NCAA all-around and balance beam champion Samantha Peszek has been hired by Pac-12 Networks as a color analyst for the 2016 gymnastics season.
Peszek, who graduated from UCLA with honors in June, is no stranger behind the mic. She has done online broadcasts for USA Gymnastics at the USA Championships and CoverGirl Classic, and for the last three years, she hosted and co-produced her own show on uclabruins.com, Bruin Banter.
One of UCLA's all-time greats, Peszek finished her career in 2015 as a three-time NCAA champion, three-time Pac-12 champion and a 17-time All-American. She scored a perfect 10 on uneven bars in 2014 and had career-bests of 9.95 on every other event and 39.700 in the all-around. During her time at UCLA, Peszek won four Scholastic All-American honors, three Pac-12 All-Academic awards, and was nominated for a Honda Sports Award. The 2008 Olympic silver medalist was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2013 as part of the 2007 World Championship team.
