Ohashi Named Pac-12 Freshman of Week

Katelyn Ohashi has been named the Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Week for the week of Jan. 12-18.
Ohashi scored a career-high 9.9 on bars to place third at Florida and help UCLA score season-bests of 49.35 on bars and 196.925 overall. She also contributed a 9.8 on beam, receiving a 9.9 from one judge, and a 9.825 on floor to help UCLA win floor at the road meet. Ohashi has competed seven of eight routines for the Bruins, the most on the team so far this season.
This is the first Pac-12 weekly honor of Ohashi's career and the 91st overall for UCLA.
Stanford's Elizabeth Price earned Gymnast of the Week honors for the second-straight week, and Utah's Breanna Hughes won Specialist of the Week.
