Belanger, Monahan Go 1-2 in 1-Meter

LOS ANGELES, Calif. โ€“ Sophomore Eloise Belanger and junior Ciara Monahan went 1-2 in the 1-meter at the Trojan Diving Invitational on Saturday afternoon.ย  Belanger topped the competition with a 589.65, while Monahan checked in at second with a 562.65.

Also placing in the top 10, senior Annika Lenz tallied a 553.70 to finish fourth and sophomore Kat Friese finished eighth with a score of 516.00.ย  Rounding out the Bruins competing in the event, sophomore Madeline Russell placed 13th (454.90).ย  ย ย 

With their scores, Belanger, Monahan, and Lenz each qualified for NCAA Zones in the 1-meter.

The Trojan Diving Invite concludes tomorrow with the platform event.ย  Prelims begin at 11 a.m. PT at USC's Uytengsu Aquatics Center.ย  Results will be available on DiveMeets.com. ย ย ย ย ย
