SAN FRANCISCO - Senior Bronte Law completed her storied Bruin career with one more award on Monday, earning Pac-12 Golfer of the Month accolades for November, as announced by the conference. It is the fourth Pac-12 GOM award for Law (October 2014, February 2015, October 2015), who turned professional on Sunday after earning partial LPGA Tour status following a T-24 finish at last week's stage three Qualifying School.
Law's final collegiate tournament as a Bruin actually started in October at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta. The senior shot a 2-under 70 in the stroke-play portion of the event to tie for third, helping UCLA finish second as a team. Then Law, as she had done throughout her career as a Bruin, dominated her two opponents in match play. On Nov. 1, Law beat Duke's Sandy Choi, 3 and 2, winning #12, #14 and #16 to close out the match. A day later, she again never trailed in routing Stanford's Sierra Kersten, 8 and 6. Law won five of the first eight holes, closing out Kersten with wins on #10, #11 and #12, making six birdies in her dozen holes.
