Jada Hart Named Pac-12 Player of the Week

UCLA redshirt freshman Jada Hart (Colton, Calif./Riverside Virtual School) was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week today as announced by the league.
Hart began her week in a big way Saturday alongside doubles partner Ena Shibahara. The ninth-ranked duo clinched the doubles point and defeated the top-ranked pair in the nation, Aldila Sutjiadi and Mami Adachi of No. 20 Kentucky, 6-3. Hart then clinched the overall win for the No. 24 Bruins with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Justina Mikulskyte.
On Sunday, Hart and Shibahara dropped their doubles match versus No. 11 Georgia Tech's Rasheeda McAdoo and Johnnise Renaud after a 12-10 tiebreaker, but the redshirt freshman rebounded to defeat Kenya Jones in singles play, 0-6, 6-1, 6-3.
