Played in all 39 games, making 38 starts during his freshman season … led the team in scoring (17.5 ppg) and rebounding (10.6 rpg) during his freshman season … earned Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year honors and was also named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year … was one of five players to secure first-team All-Pac-10 honors (along with California’s Ryan Anderson, Arizona State’s James Harden, Stanford’s Brook Lopez and USC’s O.J.
